Mike Riley landed his biggest recruit yet.

Four-star offensive tackle Matt Farniok was Nebraska’s top remaining target. On Wednesday night, he announced that he’ll be joining the Huskers in 2016.

Farniok might be Riley’s biggest recruit in more ways than one. According to 247sports, Farniok is the third-highest rated player in Nebraska’s 2016 class, and he’s the 24th-rated tackle overall.

And at 6-5, 297 pounds, he’s also the biggest recruit in Riley’s 2016 group.

The Sioux Falls native chose Nebraska over the likes of Iowa and Michigan State, both of whom he visited in the last two weeks. But the Nebraska coaching staff locked down a commitment on Wednesday while visiting Farniok in Sioux Falls.

Riley was pretty fired up about it, too.

Nebraska’s 2016 class is currently ranked 28th nationally and fifth in the B1G.
