Fight ’til the end: Ohio State drops new series offering behind-the-scenes look at Buckeyes’ push to reinstate season

The 2020 offseason will go down as one of the craziest in college football history. That applies for every program across the country. But there was something a little different about what went down in Columbus in the summer months.

Ohio State’s video production team and athletic department is offering fans a behind-the-scenes look of what the chaos was like for players and coaches during such a hectic time.

A new series, titled “Voices,” has been released by Ohio State. It offers a behind-the-scenes look at how Ohio State continued to fight for playing a fall 2020 season, despite the B1G initially postponing until spring.

Because head coach Ryan Day and quarterback Justin Fields were such vocal leaders in pushing for a season, the new series offers a unique look at how everything was handled during the offseason. Randy Wade — the father of Ohio State cornerback Shaun Wade — also was a key factor in the B1G’s decision, forming protests in Chicago and Columbus because of the postponement.

Now that the season is back on, Ohio State will open the season on Oct. 24 against Nebraska, as the Buckeyes begin their quest for a national title. Below is the video shared by OSU:
