The first college football coach has been fired in 2019. And this is an interesting way to receive the announcement.
Tim Chavous, the head coach at Saint Augustine University (a Division II program in North Carolina) tweeted out that he had been fired from his post on Monday afternoon. His tweet was in all-caps and he seemed to be pointing the finger at his athletic director for some sort of failure to take responsibility.

Saint Augustine was off to an 0-3 start and was heavily outscored in those three contests. The link to the Facebook post that further explained the situation hit a wall and was unable to be accessed.
There are still seven games remaining on the Falcons’ schedule this season.
