Michigan has wrapped up its Early Signing Period for the 2020 class, and a handful of the newest Wolverines are taking part in the preparations for the upcoming Citrus Bowl.
According to Steve Lorenz with The Michigan Insider, five of Michigan’s signees from the ESP are already in Ann Arbor and getting their first taste of practice under Jim Harbaugh and his staff. Those players will also travel with the team to Orlando and take part in the preparations all the way leading up to the game.

However, the signees will not be eligible to play against Alabama:
Offensive lineman Zak Zinter, safety Makari Paige, running back Blake Corum, cornerback Andre Seldon and linebacker Nikhai Hill-Green are already in Ann Arbor and will travel with the team to Orlando for final preparations before the Citrus Bowl against Alabama. No early enrollees are eligible to play in the bowl game, however.
It is always good to see young players able to get a jumpstart on their collegiate careers. Hopefully, the early practices provide good experience heading into their first full year on campus for the Wolverines.
