The P.J. Fleck era is alive and well in Minnesota.

As expected, the new 36-year-old coach of the Gophers was about as fiery as can be at his introductory press conference. In Fleck’s introduction, he talked about his dream job of coming to Minnesota and coaching in the B1G.

Here was Fleck’s opening statement:

For what it’s worth, Fleck later said that he planned on bringing “Row the Boat” to the Twin Cities, but that he’d mix it in with “Ski-U-Mah.”

It was only one press conference, but it appears pretty obvious — few figure to match the energy level of Fleck not only in the B1G, but nationally as well.
