Michigan State is having a rough season, but it’s not too late to turn things around.
Following a 24-0 loss to Indiana on Saturday, starting defensive tackle Naquan Jones made a simple promise to Spartan fans: “We’ll be better.”
We’ll be better I can promise that. Stick with us 💚

Aside from a surprise victory over Michigan in Week 2, it’s been a nightmare season for the Spartans. Mel Tucker’s squad has suffered double-digit losses to Rutgers, Iowa and now the Hoosiers.
The biggest problem has been turnovers. The Spartans have a whopping 14 turnovers in their three losses, with seven of those coming against Rutgers in the season opener. In their lone win against Michigan, they didn’t turn it over a single time.
Jones had one tackle and two quarterback hurries in the loss to the Hoosiers. He’s also responsible for one of Michigan State’s two fumble recoveries this season, which happened in the season-opener.
Michigan State will face Maryland next week, pending their COVID-19 outbreak getting under control
