The Buckeyes have returned to The Horseshoe.

On Saturday morning, Ohio State returned to Ohio Stadium for a practice as it prepares for the 2020 college football season. The sixth-ranked Buckeyes are scheduled to open the campaign at home against Nebraska on Saturday, Oct. 24 with kickoff set for noon ET and the game airing on FOX.

After it seemed like the B1G would hold firm in its decision to punt on football until the spring, seeing a team practicing in its home stadium is a wonderful site:

The site inside Ohio Stadium is one the Buckeyes will need to get used to this fall. The B1G announced that, outside of the parents and families of players and coaches, no fans will be permitted to attend games this year. It will be a different site for the Buckeyes.

Practicing inside the empty stadium may help prepare the Buckeyes for the unique 2020 season.

Ohio State is considered one of the favorites to win the national championship.
