It’s like kids want to play at Ohio State or something.

The Buckeyes landed Emeka Egbuka on Wednesday’s Early Signing Period. Egbuka is a wide receiver out of Washington, a five-star recruit.

It is the second-straight year where Ohio State got the top wide receiver in the nation in their recruiting class. Egbuka held offers from Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Michigan and Nebraska among others.

He committed to Ohio State on Dec. 11, 2020. His primary recruiter was Ohio State wide receiver coach Brian Hartline.

Last season, the Buckeyes signed Julian Fleming, a wide receiver out of Pennsylvania and the top-ranked prospect at his position in the 2020 class.

Earlier on Wednesday, Ohio State landed Jack Sawyer, the top player in the nation according to ESPN.com. At 247Sports, Ohio State holds the second-best recruiting class in the country behind only Alabama.
