Nebraska has taken a hit to its 2020 recruiting class over the summer.

On Friday, Jaiden Francois announced via Twitter that his recruitment is now reopened. Francois had initially committed to the Cornhuskers as a four-star CB out of Florida. He was previously rated the No. 28 CB in the country for the 2020 class by the 247 Sports Composite Rankings.

Francois’ announcement comes two months after the news that 2020 safety Henry Gray, also out of Florida, was entering the transfer portal. Gray was also a four-star recruit who transferred to FIU in June.

Hopefully this is just a minor blip on the radar for the Cornhuskers as a potential start date for the season continues to get closer. Best of luck to both players as they move on with their careers.
