A trio of former B1G stars came up big for the Kansas City Chiefs in the 1st half of Super Bowl LV.

With the Tampa Bay Buccaneers knocking on the door of taking a two-touchdown lead, former Iowa linebacker Anthony Hitchens was able to break up a pass in the back of the end zone, preventing a touchdown.

Two plays later, the Bucs tried to run the ball into the end zone on a 4th-and-1 from the 1-yard line. Another former Hawkeye linebacker Ben Niemann and former Minnesota star Damien Wilson stood tall and shut Tampa Bay down, forcing a turnover on downs.

It was a huge series for the Chiefs early in the second quarter.

Hitchens, Niemann and Wilson are three of 20 former B1G players who are suiting up for either the Buccaneers or Chiefs in Super Bowl LV. So far, guys from the league are making huge plays in the biggest game of the year.
