During the Rose Bowl game Saturday between Ohio State and Utah, former Buckeye Marcus Williamson went on a Twitter rant against the school and former head coach Urban Meyer, making several accusations about the program.

Naturally, that didn’t sit well with a lot of former Buckeyes who got on social media Saturday night to not only defend the school but Meyer, as well.

Several former players chimed in on Williamson’s tweets, including Cardale Jones, Joshua Perry, Evan Spencer and Darron Lee:

As you can tell, these former players are very passionate about their school and their former head coach.

Williamson also ripped fans and coaches for having a low football IQ during a tirade on Twitter. In one of his tweets, the former cornerback said he has retired from football and chose not to make the trip to Pasadena for Ohio State’s Rose Bowl Game appearance vs. Utah.

Neither Meyer, current head coach Ryan Day nor the school has yet to comment on Williamson’s statements.
