Nearly everyone associated with college football has weighed in on Urban Meyer’s situation at Ohio State. With his status in question heading into the season, it’s the story everyone is talking about.
That includes former ESPN college football analyst Mark May.
A few days ago, May took to Twitter to share some advice for Meyer after the Ohio State head coach released his statement in regards to the domestic violence incident involving Zach Smith, as well as his own status after being put on administrative leave. May suggested that Meyer should just keep quiet.
Urban! STOP DIGGING WHEN YOU'RE IN A HOLE!

“Urban! STOP DIGGING WHEN YOU’RE IN A HOLE!” May wrote on Twitter.
There were plenty of folks who believed that the statement released by Meyer and Ohio State was a disservice, but May was one who was very vocal about it.
May and Buckeye fans have had their tension in the past and his most recent remark regarding Ohio State and its head coach probably won’t be received very well in Columbus.
