Chicago Bears rookie Doug Kramer had his dream come true when he was selected by the Chicago Bears in the 6th round of the 2022 NFL Draft. Kramer talked what it has been like playing for his favorite NFL team on the ‘Illini Inquirer Podcast’ per Joey Wagner of 247Sports.

Kramer can’t wait for his 1st training camp with the Bears. He stated that his job NFL is the best on planet earth, but emphasized how difficult the journey was. However, the former All-B1G 2nd team and 2021 Campbell Trophy Semifinalist is up for the challenge. Kramer and the Bears rookies will start training camp on July 23, while the rest of team will start on July 26.

Here’s what he had to say about the chance of playing for his favorite team:

“It’s some of the most fun I’ve ever had in my life,” said Kramer. “You get to go in every day and do what you love. Even in your off time, all you have to do is train, and the rest of the time is really what you want to do with it. There’s a lot more room to study the game and to get better in that way. I’m really enjoying it. Walking through those doors every single day and being a Chicago Bear is the best thing in the world.”
