Former Iowa RB LeShun Daniels has a new NFL opportunity.
With one running back, Akeem Judd, heading to the reserve list, the Green Bay Packers have decided to bring in Daniels. The former Hawkeye has bounced around in the NFL with minimal regular-season action. Daniels started out as an undrafted free-agent signee with the New England Patriots. He was waived by New England on Sept. 2, 2017. He spent less than two weeks on the Los Angeles Chargers practice squad (Oct. 4 to Oct. 16, 2017). He then signed with the Washington Redskins. Daniels was promoted from the Redskins’ practice squad to the active roster on Nov. 21, 2017. He appeared in four games for Washington, logging three carries for 14 yards.
#Packers have signed RB LeShun Daniels and placed RB Akeem Judd on the reserve/retired list. Judd was signed Aug. 6 and did some nice things to catch the attention of Mike McCarthy. Daniels, a second-year player from Iowa, has spent time with the Patriots, Chargers and Redskins.
