Remember when people said George Kittle would be the steal of the 2017 NFL Draft? Yeah, it’s already becoming apparent.

The San Francisco 49ers traded tight end Vance McDonald to the Steelers, which left the No. 1 tight end spot open on the roster. That means that Kittle is currently the starter for the Niners.

Kittle has caught three passes for 33 yards and a touchdown for the 49ers in the preseason, but has also done some impressive things as a blocker.

Have a look at Kittle (No. 85) moving a defender completely out of the play, which would result in a touchdown for San Francisco.

Kittle was taken in the fifth-round of the draft, going 146th overall. He caught 22 passes for 314 yards and four touchdowns last year at Iowa.

In 2015, Kittle had 20 catches for 290 yards and six touchdowns as the Hawkeyes finished the regular season undefeated.
