Former Indiana guard Al Durham has announced his transfer destination.

Tuesday, Durham took to Twitter to announce that he will be finishing out his college career at Providence. Durham was at Indiana for four seasons and was the team’s third-leading scorer during the 2020-21 campaign, averaging 11.3 points per game.

“First, Thank you Hoosier nation for 4 years full of lessons and growth that I will take on my next journey,” Durham wrote on Twitter. “With that being said I will be using my 5th year of eligibility and I will be a grad transfer at Providence College.”

Durham will be immediately eligible for the Friars and will have one season remaining.

For his career, Durham averaged 8.4 points, 2.2 rebounds and 2.0 assists at Indiana. He was a consistent 3-point shooter over the last three seasons and shot 35.8% from behind the arc over his four years in Bloomington.

Durham’s averages for points (11.3), rebounds (3.1) and assists (2.6) were all career highs.

Durham was one of six players from Indiana to enter the transfer portal after Archie Miller’s firing. Race Thompson, Parker Stewart, Khristian Lander, Armaan Franklin and Jordan Geronimo also enter their name in the database.
