Maryland product Jake Funk recently appeared in his first NFL game and he definitely made sure his voice was heard.
The Rams rookie running back was mic’d up for the preseason contest vs. the Chargers and had some pretty awesome audio moments.

It’s easy to see based on that why Funk’s personality is already making him a fan favorite.
Funk finished with five carries and 12 yards. The most memorable play came on fourth-and-1 from the Rams’ own 24-yard line, as he eluded a defender in the backfield and gained 2 yards for the first down.
The 23-year-old Funk was selected by the Rams in the seventh round of the 2021 NFL Draft. In his final season at Maryland, Funk rushed for 519 yards and three touchdowns on 8.6 yards per carry. Funk was a third-team All-B1G selection in 2020.
