After three impressive years with the Minnesota Vikings, former Maryland receiver Stefon Diggs is getting a nice payday.

Tuesday morning, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that Minnesota and Diggs agreed to a five-year, $81 million deal that will keep the star receiver in a Vikings uniform for the next six seasons.

Diggs had 64 receptions for 849 yards and eight touchdowns in 14 games for the Vikings in 2017. He was also responsible for the incredible game-winning touchdown to push Minnesota past New Orleans to reach NFC Championship Game last season.

According to ESPN, $40 million is in guaranteed money.

In three seasons in Minnesota, Diggs has caught 200 passes for 2,472 yards and 15 touchdowns. He had 14 receptions for 207 yards in two playoff games in 2017.

Diggs is a Maryland native and was drafted in the fifth-round of the 2015 NFL Draft. He was selected with the 146th pick by the Vikings.
