On Sunday, Tennessee fired head coach Butch Jones after the Volunteers lost 50-17 to Missouri, to fall to 4-6 on the season.

Due to Jones being let go, Tennessee had to name an interim head coach. The person it named was former Michigan head man Brady Hoke.

The former Michigan man is in his first year at Tennessee. He has been coaching the defensive line, while holding the title of associate head coach.

Hoke has 12 years of experience as a head coach, most recently at Michigan from 2011-14. He was 31-20 in his four seasons with the Wolverines.

Jones was fired before completing his fifth season.
