Last week, former Michigan player Elysee Mbem-Bosse sent a series of threatening tweets to coach Jim Harbaugh, causing police to investigate.

Mbem-Bosse was dismissed from the Wolverines in November, and it seems the tweets stemmed from anger at the fact that he couldn’t get in touch with anyone at the university.

On Sunday morning, he tweeted that he was sorry for the threats, adding that he still would like an explanation from the Wolverines:

Obviously, it seems like this incident will end his Michigan career, and it will be tough for another top program to take a chance on him now.

Still, it’s good that he apologized for his actions, but now he has to learn from this situation and move forward.
