Former Michigan standout LB/DB Jabrill Peppers is being re-signed by the New England Patriots, the team announced Wednesday.

Peppers, who has been in the NFL since 2017, totaled 60 tackles last season in his first year with the Patriots. He was drafted by the Cleveland Browns in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft and has played with 3 separate NFL teams.

The deal is worth $9 million across 2 years.

To say Peppers was a star at Michigan would be an understatement. Peppers was named the B1G Defensive Player of the Year and Linebacker of the Year in 2016, as well as an All-American.

Across his 3 years at Michigan, Peppers totaled 86 tackles and 3 sacks.
