Former Michigan State DE William Gholston is staying put. Gholston has re-signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for an 11th season with the team.

Gholston entered free agency this offseason. ESPN NFL insider Jeremy Fowler shared on Twitter that the Bucs needed to get their rookies signed to figure out their remaining salary cap before bringing Gholston back for another season.

Gholston played at MSU from 2010-to-2012, earning back-to-back second-team All-B1G recognition and being named the 2012 Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl Defensive MVP. He was selected No. 126 overall in the fourth round of the 2013 NFL Draft.

Over 10 seasons, Gholston has played in 153 regular-season games, making 87 starts. He has over 400 tackles and 20 sacks. Gholston is coming off a 2022 season in which he played in all 17 games (9 starts), logging 49 tackles.
