Former Michigan State star Kenneth Walker III is on the move after winning a Super Bowl with the Seattle Seahawks and being named the game’s MVP. According to multiple reports, Walker is signing with the Kansas City Chiefs.
Walker’s deal is huge news on a busy day of NFL free agency. After 4 seasons in Seattle, he’ll play his fifth season in Kansas City.
As a Seahawk, Walker’s best seasons were his first and last. Seattle selected Walker No. 41 overall in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft.
In his debut season, Walker made the PFWA’s All-Rookie Team. He posted the best rushing numbers of his career in the regular season, carrying the ball 228 times for 1,050 yards and 9 touchdowns.
After sub-1,000-yard seasons in 2023 and ’24, Walker hit the mark again in 2025. A 17-game starter, he rushed 221 times for 1,027 yards and 5 touchdowns. In Seattle’s championship run, Walker had a postseason to remember with 65 carries for 313 yards and 4 touchdowns.
For his career, Walker has rushed 821 times in the regular season for 3,555 yards and 29 touchdowns. He also has 80 postseason carries for 376 yards and 5 scores.
After missing the playoffs last year, the Chiefs are hoping to bounce back to contending again in 2026. Kalshi is currently taking action on predictions to win the AFC West title!
