Former Michigan WR Donovan Peoples-Jones shines in crucial win for Browns

It was a crazy slate of early games in the NFL on Sunday. That included the Browns-Titans game.
The two teams went toe-to-toe with Tennessee nearly pulling off the comeback. But Cleveland held on with its strong offensive performance. That included a career day for former Michigan wideout Donovan Peoples-Jones.
Despite Peoples-Jones only being targeted three times, his numbers really jump out in the box score. He finished with two catches for 92 yards. That included a 75-yard touchdown that came on a sweet double move.
It’s been a tough task for Peoples-Jones to get more involved with the Browns’ loaded wideout group that includes the likes of Odell Beckham Jr. Peoples-Jones hadn’t been targeted in either of Cleveland’s past two games.
His most recent contribution came on Nov. 15 against Houston when he caught two passes for 16 yards in the Browns’ 10-7 win.
Peoples-Jones, a sixth-round pick out of Ann Arbor, showed some serious potential with that amazing play on Sunday. It could mean more targets from Baker Mayfield.
