Coleman, a 4-star athlete and No. 1 player in the state of Nebraska, recently visited Boulder and met with the current staff. According to 247Sports, Coleman left impressed with the vision in place by the 1st-year head coach and could be making Colorado his top choice following the remainder of his visits.
Currently, Coleman has not set a decision date as to when he’ll make his commitment. Currently, Colorado, Michigan and Nebraska remain the front-runners to land the speedy athlete for 2023. Other offers include Florida State, Georgia, Iowa, Kansas State, Kentucky, Maryland, Miami, Minnesota, Ole Miss, and Penn State, among others.
Coleman has ties to Sanders prior to Prime’s arrival in the Pac-12. Sanders initially recruited Coleman during his time at Jackson State. Last season, the Tigers went 12-0 under Sanders, winning the SWAC conference for the 2nd consecutive season.
