Former Nebraska DB Noa Pola-Gates has found a new home. Pola-Gates will reportedly continue his college football career at New Mexico.

Sean Callahan and Matt Zenitz of On3 shared the news of Pola-Gates’ transfer destination on Monday.

It’s a return to the southwest for Pola-Gates, who took part in the Army All-American Bowl and the Polynesian Bowl after a standout high school career in Arizona. As a Class of 2019 prospect, he was rated 4-stars, the No. 3 Arizona player, No. 18 cornerback and No. 148 recruit overall nationally on the 247Sports Composite.

During his recruitment, Pola-Gates took visits to Nebraska, Penn State, Alabama, Arizona State and USC. Signing Pola-Gates appeared to be a big recruiting win for Scott Frost’s staff, but things did not work out in Lincoln.

Pola-Gates dealt with injuries and made just 4 tackles in his Huskers career as a special teams contributor.
