A trio of former Northwestern baseball staffers are planning to sue Northwestern and former head coach Jim Foster on Monday, according to a release Sunday evening.
The suit – filed by assistant coaches Dusty Napoleon and Jon Strauss as well as Director of Baseball Ops Chris Beacom – is set to be levied against the university alleging “retaliatory discharge, harassment, bullying and abuse.”
The 3 staffers claim they received unwarranted retaliation from the school for reporting violations by Foster to university officials. The suit is also expected to allege charges of “racism, sexism and egregious tortious conduct” from the baseball program alongside the above claim.

Foster was fired in July for his part in creating a “toxic” environment that broke the spirit of the Northwestern baseball team.
