Apple has been in the NFL since 2016. After ending his championship Ohio State career with All-B1G recognition in 2015, he was selected No. 10 overall by the New York Giants. Over the last few years, Apple has been on the move a few times.
The Giants traded Apple to the New Orleans Saints during the 2018 season. Ahead of the 2020 season, he signed with the Carolina Panthers. Apple spent the past 2 seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals.
