Former Ohio State defender reportedly traded by Las Vegas Raiders

The Dallas Cowboys have acquired defensive tackle Jonathan Hankins from the Oakland Raiders via trade, NFL insider Ian Rapoport reports. The full trade sends Hankins and a seventh-round pick to Dallas for a sixth-round pick.
The move is expected to bolster the NFL’s 20th ranked run defense that excels in all other areas. He has shown that he can be a solid pass rusher in the NFL, his main value lies at stuffing the run.

Hankins is in the final year of his contract, so he is mainly a rental for the Cowboys, but his veteran presence could prove valuable.
