One former Ohio State DL was among the unfortunate group of players to not hear his name called during the 2023 NFL Draft. Fortunately, he will reportedly get a chance to land with a team via an invite to minicamp.

According to NFL insider Adam Schefter, the Buffalo Bills have invited Taron Vincent to their rookie minicamp on a tryout basis. Taron is the son of NFL executive Troy Vincent.

Coming out of high school, Taron Vincent was a 5-star recruit and the No. 20 player in the country for the 2020 recruiting class per the 247 Sports Composite. Though he might have never lived up to the expectations of a 5-star recruit, Vincent finished his career with 58 tackles, 8 TFL and 2.5 sacks.

During the 2022 season, Vincent posted 25 tackles, 2.5 TFL and half a sack for the Buckeyes. We’ll see if he can carve out a potential roster spot with the Bills.
