Former Ohio State OL injured on Thursday Night Football

Former Ohio State Buckeye and Los Angeles Chargers center Corey Linsley suffered a significant knee injury in the first half and didn’t return for the second half. Will Clapp came in to replace Linsley for the rest of the game.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported the news. Linsley was listed as questionable to return to the game.

Los Angeles lost to Kansas City on the road 27-24 in a key AFC West battle on the inaugural Amazon Prime’s Thursday Night Football. Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert had a great performance, but the offensive line struggled without Linsley.
The offensive line allowed 8 quarterback hits, 2 sacks, and 4 tackles for loss in the loss. Linsley was named to his first Pro Bowl this past season as he was also named as a second-team All-Pro. He was a first-team All-Pro selection in the 2020 NFL season.
The Los Angeles Chargers selected Linsley in the fifth round (161st overall pick) in the 2014 NFL Draft.
