Out of Revere High School, Christman was a 4-star prospect in the 2021 recruiting class. He chose Ohio State over scholarship offers from 20 other schools. He used a redshirt in 2021, giving him 3 remaining seasons of eligbility.
On April 26, Christman tweeted that he was entering his name into the NCAA transfer portal.
“First off I want to thank God for my many blessings. Thank you to all of my Teammates, OSU parents, staff, & fans at Ohio State for your support over the last 2 years. I wish you the best. Thank you Dad & Mom for your support through this process. I’m officially entering my name into the portal with 3 years of eligibility remaining.”
