Former Ohio State punter Drue Chrisman has reached out to thank fans from his hospital bed.
Chrisman missed the start of Cincinnati Bengals camp on Wednesday due to what the team called a medical situation.
“I don’t wanna get too much into it without having all of the information,” Bengals coach Zac Taylor said of Chrisman’s absence on Wednesday, per Cleveland.com. “But the good thing is with the situation, people took care of him quickly. He’s been responsive, he’s been talking to us, he’s been in great spirits, and we’ll get more information.”
On Friday, Chrisman tweeted that “everything looks to be okay,” but did not share what led to his hospitalization.
Thank you to everyone who has reached out. I appreciate your thoughts and prayers. Everything looking to be okay and hopefully back soon🙌🏼 pic.twitter.com/NmpLUJVl9b
