Former Ohio State receiver Chris Olave has been named the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Month for September. He won the honor alongside Utah linebacker Devin Lloyd, who took the Defensive Rookie of the Month designation.
And it’s hard to argue against Olave’s case. The rookie has 268 yards receiving on 17 catches through 3 games this season, the most among rookies and 7th most in the league.

Olave joins only Marques Colston, Reggie Bush and Alvin Kamara as Saints rookies to win the award. Not a bad group to be a member of.
The Ohio State rookie has been one of the only bright spots on the team this year, however. New Orleans is 1-2 with a 1-point victory over Atlanta in Week 1 on their resume.
