Former Penn State, Minnesota assistant reportedly takes job at Arkansas State

Arkansas State is hiring an offensive line coach with strong ties to the Big Ten in Matt Limegrover.
The announcement was made on Wednesday by The Athletic’s Bruce Feldman.
Limegrover’s Big Ten ties began in 1995 when he put in two seasons as a graduate assistant at Northwestern. In 2011, he spent several seasons at Minnesota as their offensive line coach and then, beginning in 2016, four seasons in Happy Valley in a similar role at Penn State. Last year, he was an offensive analyst at Michigan.
Collegiately, Limegrover played Division II football at Chicago before starting a coaching career that has largely been centered in the Midwest and around Big Ten programs.
Last season, Arkansas State was a disappointing 4-7, leading to the firing of Blake Anderson. In his place, Butch Jones, who spent his last three seasons on staff at Alabama, became the head coach of the Red Wolves.
In their last seven seasons, all under Anderson, Arkansas State made six bowl games and had a winning record in all of them but last year.
