A native of Pittsburgh, Philadelphia Eagles running back Miles Sanders is used to playing football in the state of Pennsylvania.

Selected by the Eagles in the second round of the 2019 National Football League Draft, Sanders was handling kick return duties on Sunday vs. the Detroit Lions with former Wisconsin Badger Corey Clement sidelined with a shoulder injury.

Returning a kickoff following a Matt Prater field goal in the second quarter, Sanders was the victim of a missed call when Lions linebacker Miles Killebrew brought him down by his face mask.

Barstool Penn State provided footage of the no-call:

A 247Sports Composite five-star in the 2016 class, Sanders was the No. 1 running back in the country and the No. 1 player in the state of Pennsylvania.

Backing up Saquon Barkley for his first two years in State College, he shined when taking over the lead back role as a junior. Helping the Nittany Lions to a 9-4 (6-3 B1G) record, Sanders ran for 1,274 yards (5.8 AVG) and nine touchdowns in 2018.

3-0 and ranked No. 12 in America, Penn State travels to College Park to face the 2-1 Maryland Terrapins on Friday (8:00PM ET, FS1).
