Speaking specifically about Hamler, Robinson offered some glowing remarks.
“He’s electric.
“When I think of him, I think of guys like Tyreek Hill (of the Kansas City Chiefs) and John Ross (of the Cincinnati Bengals). As soon as you get the ball in his hands there’s always a chance that he can score.”
Through five games, Hamler has caught 19 passes for 394 yards (20.7 AVG) and four touchdowns for the No. 10 Nittany Lions.
Catching 177 passes for Penn State from 2011-13, Robinson was selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the second round of the 2014 NFL Draft. Following four seasons in the AFC South, he is in his second season with the Bears.
Interesting, Robinson and Hamler also both played for Orchard Lake St. Mary’s High School in Orchard Lake, Michigan.
