Former Penn State linebacker Micah Parsons is still backing the Nittany Lions.
In a recently-released video, Parsons gave a passionate recruiting pitch to recruits who are considering Penn State.
“If you’re from Pennsylvania, and you don’t go Penn State, LBU, to play for coach Franklin. Then, you, my friend, are crazy,” Parsons said. “My dreams, my visions, all came true under hard work and under coach Franklin’s vision. So if I were you, I’d come here too.”

It’s looking like an impressive in-state class in Pennsylvania in 2022. According to 247Sports Composite rankings, there are 11 prospects who are a rated as 4-star recruits. That includes edge rusher Enai White, who is a borderline 5-star.
Of those 11 prospects, five of them are currently committed — three to Penn State and two to Rutgers. Penn State also has a commitment from the No. 12 prospect in the state, 3-star quarterback Beau Pribula.
Parsons was drafted in the first round by the Dallas Cowboys back in April. He’s expected to make a big impact on the Cowboys this season, who are the likely favorites to win the NFC East.
Parsons opted out of the 2020 season due to COVID-19, but still had a great career at Penn State. In two years with the school, he totaled 191 tackles, 18 tackles for loss and 6.5 sacks.
