One former Penn State WR and Nittany Lions star is going to be back in the state of Pennsylvania for the 2023 season.
According to reports, Allen Robinson has been dealt to the Pittsburgh Steelers in a deal from the Los Angeles Rams. The deal has been in the works since Tuesday but was pending a physical with ESPN’s Dianna Russini reporting Wednesday evening that Robinson has passed his physical with Pittsburgh.

Robinson was due around $15 million for the 2023 season. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Rams will pay $10.25 million of the remaining money with Pittsburgh paying $5 million.
The Steelers gave up a 7th-round pick to acquire the former Pro Bowler per Schefter.
Trade terms agreement:
🏈Steelers get WR Allen Robinson and a 7th-round pick (No. 251).
🏈Rams receive 7th-round pick (No. 234).
Rams pay $10.25 million of Robinson’s salary; Steelers pay remaining $5 million. Robinson is scheduled to be in Pittsburgh for a physical Wednesday.

Robinson previously had a 1,400-yard season for the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2015 and averaged just over 1,000 yards per season from 2018-20 with the Chicago Bears. Unfortunately, his productivity has dipped in the past couple of years.
After signing with the Rams, Robinson appeared in 10 games with 339 receiving yards and 3 touchdowns during the 2022 season. Some of that dip could be related to a revolving quarterback situation with Los Angeles starting 4 different QBs a year ago.
We’ll see if a change of scenery and a return to Pennsylvania jumpstart things for Robinson.
