Former Purdue WR David Bell is finally on the board! After not finding the end zone as an NFL rookie, he came through with a big-time grab for the Cleveland Browns in Sunday’s action.
With Cleveland clinging to a 4th-quarter lead and facing a 4th-and-3, Bell was able to break free in the secondary. The Jacksonville defense lost track of Bell, and the wide receiver was left wide open.
After the catch, it was off to the races with Bell covering 41 yards on his first career touchdown:
When in doubt and it’s 4th down, RING THE BELL! 🛎️@DB3LL with a huge play for the @Browns for his 1st career TD.#ProBoilers

While at Purdue, Bell had 2,946 career yards with 21 touchdowns, including a 93-catch, 1,286-yard season in 2021. He is 5th on Purdue’s all-time receiving yards list and tied for 5th in receiving TDs.
