Former Wisconsin defensive back Madison Cone has found a home in the MAC.
On Sunday, Cone announced that he will be finishing his college football career at Buffalo. The ex-Badger decided to enter the NCAA transfer portal following the 2020 season. Cone will have one year of eligibility remaining with the Bulls.
Cone made his announcement with a post on social media. He spent four seasons at Wisconsin before leaving the program.

Cone appeared in 33 career games with the Badgers but made just 2 appearances during the 2020 season. He totaled 27 tackles, 4 passes defended, 2 interceptions and a tackle for loss during his four-year run in Madison.
Cone appeared in a minimum of nine games each of his first three years at Wisconsin.
The defensive back transfers to a Buffalo program that finished the 2020 season with a 6-1 record, with its lone loss coming to Ball State in the MAC Championship Game. The Bulls defeated Marshall 17-10 in the Cramton Bowl to end the year.
Wisconsin finished with a 4-3 mark, winning its final two games against Minnesota and Wake Forest in the Duke’s Mayo Bowl.
