A former Wisconsin cornerback will have another shot at the NFL.
On Sunday, the Philadelphia Eagles announced on Twitter that they have signed cornerback Sojourn Shelton after waiving injured wide receiver Shelton Gibson. This will be the third team Shelton has been a member of since his final season at Wisconsin in 2016.
Shelton was an undrafted free agent after the 2017 NFL Draft. He spent time with the Arizona Cardinals in 2017 and the Cincinnati Bengals in 2017 and 2018.

Shelton was one of the best secondary players in the B1G during his four-year career with the Badgers. He logged nine interceptions and 30 pass break-ups while appearing in 54 games. He also registered 128 tackles.
Shelton was at Wisconsin from 2013-2016.
