Former Wisconsin linebacker Jack Sanborn is looking to make the Chicago Bears roster as an undrafted free agent. In Chicago’s first preseason game of 2022, Sanborn was one of the most efficient defenders in the 19-14 win over the Kansas City Chiefs.
On Saturday, Sanborn led the team in total tackles, and solo tackles accounted for with 7. He also accounted for 1 tackle for loss, 1 pass breakup, 1 interception, and 1 fumble recovery.

Bears Wire recognized Sanborn as one of the top players from Chicago’s win over Kansas City. This type of performance was what Sanborn needed to boost his chances of making the 53-man roster after the conclusion of the preseason.
In his last season with Wisconsin, Sanborn accounted for 89 total tackles, 45 solo tackles, 16 tackles for loss, 5 sacks, and 1 fumble recovery. He was named a first-team All-B1G selection after his impact senior season.
