While the 32-year-old still has one year remaining on his contract, Thomas has said he’s unsure if he will play beyond this season. Thomas played every snap in his career for the Browns since they selected him with the No. 3 pick in the 2007 draft. It was a streak of 10,363 consecutive plays, until he left last Sunday’s game in the third quarter against Tennessee with the injury.
The Browns placed Thomas on the injured reserve on Monday.
