Since we have reached the midpoint of the season, midyear All-Americans have been released left and right. The latest one comes from Sports Illustrated.
Several B1G players have been recognize by outlets like the Associated Press and USA Today. SI recognized four B1G players.
Offense
- Penn State running back Saquon Barkley
- Penn State tight end Mike Gesicki
Defense
- Iowa linebacker Josey Jewell
- Michigan linebacker Devin Bush
Barkely, Jewell and Bush have all appeared on other midseason All-American teams. But, I believe, this is the first one for Gesicki.
