Four-star Penn State recruit reportedly arrested on robbery charge

A four-star Penn State recruit has been arrested on a robbery charge stemming from July, according to Philly.com.

On Friday night, Philly.com reported that Isheem Young, a four-star defensive back who was committed to Penn State, was arrested in connection to a robbery at a WaWa in Philadelphia with two others in July.

Young was arraigned on counts of robbery, conspiracy, firearms violations and related offenses, according to Philly.com. Bail was set at $150,000.

Young was ranked as a top 300 prospect in the 2018 recruiting class, and was considered a top 10 player from the state of Pennsylvania, according to 247Sports. He is a member of Penn State’s 22-player class, which is currently ranked as the second-best class in the B1G and fourth-best nationally.

There has been no word from Penn State on the situation.
