Fourth Michigan player opting to skip Peach Bowl

A fourth Michigan player has decided to skip the team’s Peach Bowl game against Florida on Saturday.
Nick Baumgardner of the Detroit Free Press reported that starting right tackle Juwann Bushell-Beatty didn’t make the trip to Atlanta and will not play in the Peach Bowl. According to a spokesman from Michigan, it was Bushell-Beatty’s decision not to participate.
Bushell-Beatty suffered an injury late in the season. He was limited in Michigan’s final home game against Indiana and made the trip to Columbus, but did not play against Ohio State. He’s now the fourth player who has decided to skip the bowl game.
Defensive lineman Rashan Gary, linebacker Devin Bush Jr. and running back Karan Higdon also have decided to forgo the bowl game and focus on the NFL Draft.
Redshirt freshman Andrew Stueber is expected to be the replacement for Bushell-Beatty in the Peach Bowl. He was the starter in the season finale against the Buckeyes.
