We may only be two weeks into the Big Ten’s football season, but it’s never too early to start predicting who’s going to go to the College Football Playoff.
The Big Noon Kickoff crew at FOX have made their picks following Week 2 in the B1G and almost all of them are the same:
The #BigNoonKickoff crew is *almost* unanimous in their CFP teams this week!

The one big outlier in these picks comes from Urban Meyer. He’s the only one who doesn’t have Notre Dame in his top four and instead has Florida.
Having Florida in over Notre Dame is bold since the Gators already have a loss and the Fighting Irish don’t. Florida ended up losing to Texas A&M on October 10th, 41-38. However, it should be noted that Meyer’s No. 3 and No. 4 teams are two places he previously coached, so maybe his fondness for Ohio State and Florida is simply showing through.
The rankings aren’t likely to be almost this unanimous next week since Notre Dame plays Clemson on Saturday night. The loser of that game will likely fall out and if Ohio State or Alabama gets upset, then we’re talking about a major shakeup.
