The Wolverines probably enjoyed this year’s game a bit more than the Spartans, but it looks like plenty of people were tuned in for the in-state rivalry.

Michigan and Michigan State squared off on Saturday with the Wolverines rolling to a massive win in Ann Arbor. The 44-10 win by Jim Harbaugh and company was the worst lass for the Spartans in the series under Mark Dantonio. It was also a dominant passing performance by Shea Patterson.

Though the game was a blowout, it doesn’t appear that lopsided outcome affected the viewership. According to Fox Sports PR, the game was the highest-rated college football game for the noon time slot over the weekend.

It will be interesting to see if FOX’s Big Noon Kickoff Game in Week 13 can top that. This week, No. 9 Penn State travels to Columbus to take on No. 2 Ohio State at 12 pm EST.
