FOX Sports CFB analyst crew ranks Top 5 RBs entering 2020

As momentum for the 2020 college football season continues to gain steam, analysts across the country are beginning to talk about football-related things. Last week, the FOX Sports crew named their top five quarterbacks in the 2020 preseason.

Now, that same group has weighed in on the top running backs heading into the season.

Two B1G running backs earned mentions from the FOX Sports analysts. Penn State’s Journey Brown was the most popular, receiving three votes as one of the top five ball carriers entering the season. Ohio State’s Trey Sermon — who transferred from Oklahoma — got just one mention.

Fittingly, that came from former Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer.

Here’s how analysts Joel Klatt, Reggie Bush, Matt Leinart, Brady Quinn, Rob Stone and Meyer ranked the five running backs:
